Volunteers
Many of our members are also volunteers. Our volunteers provide support in medical and non-medical situations.
Non-Medical Support: We have volunteers to help with gardening and plant care, walking dogs, friendly "cup 'o tea" home visits, or computer and technology support. Members seeking non-medical support will find a list of volunteers on the section of this website that is for members only and requires a login and password. Support in Medical Situations: Members facing a temporary medical crisis benefit from drivers who take them to medical appointments or volunteers to help with grocery shopping. To learn more about our volunteer program, read the Volunteer Handbook (see the button under the photo). Help for Members Members may access volunteer help by going to the CAN Volunteers page on you login account for this website. |
If you are a CAN member and would like to volunteer to be a Care Specialist to help support members temporarily facing medical challenges, or if you are a CAN member and would like to be a non-medical volunteer, go to the CAN Volunteers page in the members' section of this website.
