Programs

Click on the tabs under PROGRAMS on the menu bar to find the content of Creative Aging in Nyack programs since we began in 2017. In each year the programs are in date order, but you can easily scan the program titles within each year to find what interests you.

The programs from 2017 and 2018 are of special historical significance for the organization. Reading about our group when we were just forming as an organization give you insight into how we began, what our priorities were, how we figured out our purposes and our structure.

You will find that the program listing for 2021 is incomplete because we were at the height of the Covid 19 epidemic, we did not meet. Ann Morgan continued to send out our Newsletter, but the main content was wonderful autobiographical essays that 26 of our members wrote that Diana Kriz and Nancy Webber edited. Those inspired us and kept us going through those difficult times.

Creative Aging in Nyack normally meets every two weeks. From the start, we have met in the Community Room of the Nyack Library, but during the Covid 19 epidemic members learned how to use Zoom so that we could continue to meet. This Program section of our website includes most of the programs we have done.
